Description
It is made by drying the extract from autolyzing yeast cells (Saccharomyces), which are specifically grown for this use under carefully monitored conditions, while keeping all of the vitamins, amino acids, growth factors, and nutrients?particularly the B group?in tact. Free amino acids and other nutrients, including vitamins, are abundant in it. This extract is low in salt and has been purified for use in fermentation, microbial culture media, and other biological products.
