TOLUIDINE BLUE

Toluidine Blue is a dark greenish granular dye and is widely utilized for staining in biological applications and in diagnostic microscopy applications. The stain binds very well to acidic components within the tissues allowing for more contrast cellular detail during microscopic examination. Toluidine Blue has been employed in vivo for detection of dysplasia and carcinoma in the oral cavity in clinical and research environments. Its staining behavior helps highlight abnormal tissue regions, supporting clearer observation during pathological assessment and diagnostic screening procedures.
