SUCROSE, AR GRADE

Sucrose is a white crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water which allows it to be utilised in many formulations. Disaccharides such as sucrose are widely used in food and pharmaceutical applications because of their stability and taste profile. It is used to sweeten processed foods and soft drinks and in the manufacture of syrups, invert sugar, confectionery, jams and preserves. In addition, it is utilized as a demulcent in pharmaceutical products and in the production of caramel. Its range of functions allows it to be used in a variety of applications from industrial material to laboratory reagents.
