POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE, EXTRA PURE

Potassium Permanganate, Extra Pure is a dark purple crystalline powder which has a unique appearance derived from its strong oxidizing property. Due to the high reactivity, it is often employed in matters in which very controlled oxidation is needed. It is also used as an antiseptic and in processes related to water purification, where it assists in the decomposition of unwanted contaminants. This extra pure grade is produced with controlled contents of the sulphate, chloride, nitrogen, sodium and heavy metal ions to assure uniform behaviour during use. It provides reliable quality for laboratory and formulation work where accuracy and repeatability are important, with an assay of not less than 99.0 %.
