Description
Maltodextrin is a white hygroscopic powder that is readily soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. It belongs to the class of carbohydrates known as saccharide polymers, which is obtained from the acid hydrolysis of starch and subsequently treated with purification and spray drying.
