Kaolin Light, Extra Pure is a white fine powder composed primarily of hydrated aluminum silicate. The material is valued for its adsorption behavior, fine particle texture, and stability during analytical and experimental applications. In research procedures, kaolin has been used along with carrageenan to induce arthritic inflammation in rat models for evaluating the activity of JAK3 (Janus kinase 3) inhibitors.
