IODINE (RESUBLIMED), AR GRADE

Iodine (Resublimed), AR Grade is a crystalline solid of bluish black shade with characteristic odor. It is also soluble in aqueous solutions of potassium iodide or hydriodic acid, making solution preparation easy. The material is purified more by resublimation giving a pure clean and homogeneous product which can be handled and dissolved in a predictable manner. Having a minimum assay of 99.5%, it ensures uniformity and dependability in its use as a laboratory reagent in routine as well as in analytical work. This grade is supplied with tightly controlled limits on the bromide, chloride and non-volatile residue content to minimize potential interferences in experimental work.
