FILL TEST MEDIUM

In aseptic manufacturing, demonstrating that the process is free of microbial contamination is as crucial as testing the product itself. Media Fill Tests are conducted to simulate actual production environments and ensure that the operations of filling, handling, and packaging are performed under sterile conditions.
Fill Test Medium is a gamma irradiated sterile medium intended for media fill studies and aseptic process validation. Based on the nutritional principles of Soyabean Casein Digest Medium, it is rich in peptones, amino acids, vitamins, carbohydrates, and other essential nutrients that help the growth of many different types of microorganisms. The formulation contains an MFT indicator that visually indicates contamination. When microbial growth occurs, the indicator changes colour from light yellow to maroon-red, enabling quick and easy observation without the need for any further testing. This enables the medium to be used to test the aseptic filling procedure and monitor sterility assurance in pharmaceutical production areas.
