COMBO STERILITY KIT (USP/EP/JP/IP)

Combo Sterility Kit is a ready-to-use sterile media kit designed for sterility testing as per major pharmacopoeial requirements, such as USP, EP, JP, and IP. The kit contains two prefilled glass bottles: Fluid Thioglycollate Medium and Soybean Casein Digest Medium, providing a convenient and standardized solution for sterility testing workflows.
The combination of these two media in conjunction allows for the recovery of a wide variety of bacteria with varying oxygen requirements. Fluid Thioglycollate Medium is a medium that supports the growth of both anaerobic and aerobic organisms and it has been modified to include agar to allow for determination of oxygen requirements of bacteria. Soybean Casein Digest Medium is a rich medium for cultivation of a large number of microorganisms and is most commonly applied to the sterility testing and total aerobic microbial count studies.
This kit is designed to allow validation and microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products and other items requiring sterility assessment. Being a sterile ready-to-use system, it simplifies laboratory work, minimizes media preparation, and facilitates adherence to the pharmacopoeial requirements for sterility testing while fulfilling the criteria for Growth Promotion Testing.
