Antimony Trioxide, AR Grade is a white, free-flowing powder and meets the specifications of analytical reagent. It has high purity with assay not less than 99.0% and tightly controlled impurity levels.
The material is commonly used in the preparation of selective ammoxidation catalysts. Typical applications include reactions such as the conversion of toluene to benzonitrile and propylene to acrylonitrile. It is often treated by sol-gel technique together with vanadium pentoxide and high-purity hydrogen peroxide.
Low limits for chloride, sulphate, arsenic, lead, and copper ensure consistent behavior during synthesis and research work.
