M-TGE Broth Ready-to-Use Liquid Media Tube is a sterile microbiological culture medium used for the isolation and enumeration of heterotrophic bacteria by the membrane filtration method. Provided in ready-to-use tubes (2-2.5 mL), it allows you to skip all the preparatory work needed for the media and provides a high concentration of the perfect growth media.

M-TGE Broth is an enrichment medium based on the extremely nutritious Tryptone Glucose Extract (TGE) Broth, which can be used to resuscitate a wide variety of non-fermenting heterotrophic microorganisms from water samples. After filtration through a membrane filter, sterile absorbent pads are soaked with the TGE Broth and the membrane filters are quickly aseptically transferred onto the pads. The formulated TGE Broth can then be used for the routine microbiological assessment of the sample.
