POTASSIUM SORBATE (GRANULAR)

Potassium Sorbate is a white crystalline powder with dependable physical form and dependable handling characteristics. In aqueous systems, a 5% solution has a pH in the range 7.-8.5 and allows consistent performance in processing and application. With controlled composition and expected properties, the material is commonly used in electroplating processing, and piezoelectric applications. It is also used as a combustion accelerator in cigarette paper, to promote even burning characteristics and regular product performance. The quality standards are strictly controlled for reliability. Each chloride, sulfate, iron and lead is limited to not more than .5 %, so chances of interference in sensitive operations is kept to a minimum. The product passes a minimum assay of 98.5%, allowing it to be applied to processes where uniformity, purity and processibility of raw material is important.
