DEXTROSE (ANH), AR GRADE

Dextrose (Anhydrous), AR Grade is a white crystalline powder having a sweet taste, freely soluble in water forming a clear solution. As a simple sugar, it serves as a readily available source of energy in various systems. It finds application in the production of antibiotics like penicillin and ampicillin and in the manufacture of substances such as sorbitol and calcium gluconate. It is used in the bakery, canned and frozen food industry. It is also a preferred carbohydrate substrate for parenteral nutrition protocols providing energy in medical applications.
