AMMONIUM FORMATE, AR GRADE

Ammonium Formate AR Grade is applicable in analytical chemistry and in organic synthesis. In LC-MS/MS, it acts as a buffer solution for drug and exogenous compound screening. It is also used as a catalyst in hydrogen transfer reactions for reducing aliphatic and aromatic nitro compounds.
The product appears as colorless, deliquescent crystals. A 10% solution in water is completely clear. It has a pH of 6.0-7.0 and very low levels of impurities, including chloride, sulphate, copper, iron, and lead. The purity of the product is not less than 97.5 % for dependable performance.
