BIOPEPTONE (MIXTURE OF CASEIN & MEAT PEPTONE

Bio Peptone (Mixture Of Casein &Meat Peptone) is a mixture of enzymic digest of casein and animal tissues. It meets the nutritional requirements not supplied by meat peptone or casein hydrolysate individually. It provides a broad spectrum of peptides and amino acids and hence can be used in the manufacture of various Culture Media. It is creamish to yellowish colour, free flowing powder having characteristic odour but not pungent smell. It is soluble in distilled water, and insoluble in alcohol.

Bio Peptone (Mixture Of Casein &Meat Peptone) is used in Culture Media as a cultivation of fastidious microorganisms in Columbia Broth Base, Dextrose Agar and Casman Agar Base. It is also used as a large-scale production of antibiotics, enzymes & other products of microbiological origin.
