The fundamental microbiology laboratory techniques include aseptic techniques, culturing
techniques, enumerating bacteria, and identifying different classes of microorganisms.
Job Responsibilities :
Sampling and testing of dehydrated culture media and water.
Testing of Ready to use media.
Testing of Antibiotic disc.
Testing of water.
Environmental monitoring of production and microbiology area.
Personnel and surface monitoring of microbiology laboratory and production area.
Temperature and relative humidity monitoring.
Calibration and verification of instruments.
Microbial culture maintenance and record.
Maintenance of all QC testing records.
Handling of microbiology laboratory equipment (Autoclave, LAF, incubators, weighing balance and pH meter etc.)
Potential / Desired roles:
Monitor the microbiological quality of Environment (air monitoring) and water.
Ensure the quality of Finished products before they are released in the market.
