Sabouraud Dextrose Broth is an enriched fungal culture for the selective enrichment of Candida albicans and other yeasts and moulds. The medium meets the harmonized requirements of the USP, EP, BP and JP and is applicable for the microbiological examination of non-sterile pharmaceutical products. Its formulation supports consistent fungal recovery, providing the confidence needed for quality control, routine laboratory testing, and validation procedures.
The medium provides a balanced nutritional environment suitable for the growth of fungi while ensuring consistent performance during microbiological analysis.
