Tellurite Blood Agar Base is used for selective isolation and cultivation of Corynebacterium species. Many species of Corynebacteria can be isolated from various places such as soil, water, blood, and human skin. Pathogenic strains of Corynebacteria can infect plants, animals, or humans.
